We did it!

Christine Hannan, our wonderful Outreach Coordinator,  has collected 14 bicycles for the amazing organisation Bikes 4 Life.
For the second time this year, Sydney Community Services is proud to be part of this project by dropping off 14 bicycles to Bikes 4. These bikes will be loaded into a shipping container heading to Thailand and will be donated to the Hands Across the Water community.

A special thank you to all the people who dropped off their bikes.  We are all very lucky to be part of such a generous community!

What Bikes 4 Life does

Bikes 4 Life is an organisation that provides restored bicycles to the most marginalised and impoverished communities around the world. A simple gift of a bicycle can improve a family’s standard of living dramatically. Bikes 4 Life has transformed the lives of many families by opening up employment opportunities, making remote sources of food and water easily accessible and ensuring that children are able to get to school.
