An event every week that begins at 6:00 pm on Wednesday, repeating until 16 December 2020
The theatre ensemble, ‘Different Degrees’, is a series of drama workshops for adults from 18 to 64 years old with a disability and low support needs.
During the class, members acquire skills in movement, acting, voice, music and stagecraft. Members are encouraged to explore and develop their talents in a safe, uncompetitive atmosphere.
Each year the actors devise a play and develop and rehearse it for a performance at The Concourse Theatre in Chatswood as part of the celebrations to the International Day of People with a Disability in December.
The project, a collaboration between Sydney Community Services and Lane Cove Council, has been encouraging self-expression and fun since 2011.
When: Every Wednesday evening, 6pm-8pm, during school terms (not on school holidays nor public holidays).
