Donations sought for 100 Christmas hampers for those in need

Thanks to generous donations, SCS distributes 100 Christmas hampers each year to those disadvantaged in our community.

This year has been a struggle for many people; more so than perhaps other years when there was no pandemic reducing employment, placing strain on family and relationships and diminishing opportunities.

We hope you can help us to brighten Christmas for those in our community who are struggling.

Here’s how you can help:

1. Bring your donated items (canned, dried goods etc and small gifts) to 46 Gladesville Rd, Hunters Hill or to 1 Pottery Ln, Lane Cove

2. If you shop at Woollies in Lane Cove, drop in your item/items into a tinsel-covered trolley

3. Or if you’re in Gladesville Shopping Centre, look out for our Tree of Joy from which you can pick a dangling tag with a gift suggestion for somebody we know who’d appreciate it. 

We’ll be distributing hampers until December 18….
