Home Adjustments
Home Adjustments
Want to keep living in your own home for as long as possible?
We’re here to help make that happen. We can work with you—and your Occupational Therapist or doctor if needed—to make changes around your home that support your safety, comfort, and independence.
Even small tweaks can make a big difference. Our home adjustment services are all about making your home work better for you, so you can stay independent and feel safe living where you are.
Some examples of what we can do include:
- Grab rails e.g. shower and elsewhere in bathroom
- Handheld showers
- Handrails next to steps both inside and outside the home
- Step modifications
- Wedges e.g. where the floor levels are different inside the home
- Chair risers
- Lever taps
- Removal of shower screen doors – installation of weighted shower curtains
- Slip resistant flooring
- Key Lock Boxes
- Ramps
Please note an Occupational Therapist assessment is necessary for all Home Adjustment services.
