On Monday 24th July, Sydney Community Services Lane Cove celebrated ‘Christmas in July’!
Over fifty clients joined us in the Park View Room for a fabulous three-course lunch with all the trimmings including ham, turkey and Christmas pudding with brandy custard.
There were lucky door prizes and even a complimentary glass of bubbles!
Many clients who attended were regulars at Park View Cafe, our bi monthly lunches but it was also great to see some new faces. These lunches are a great way to make new friends and often to reconnect with ones you may not have seen for a while.
A special thank you to Julie, SCS Events Coordinator and our wonderful team of Social Activities volunteers: Michael, Tina, Pam, Gerda, Margaret, Hong, Samar, Kate, Patty, Lauren and Maddy. They ensured everyone had a great time.

Park View Cafe provides an opportunity to meet people within our community in a relaxed and friendly environment. Come and enjoy the beautiful view while indulging in a three-course meal for just $15. Park View Cafe operates on the 2nd and 4th Monday of the month.
