Sydney Community Services was delighted to welcome the rugby league legend Steve Mortimer on Thursday 9th November 2017 at our Park View Cafe.
Over 20 clients attended the event and had the opportunity to learn the gameplay with Steve. Everyone enjoyed the friendly atmosphere and the delicious morning tea.
This event was an opportunity to bring people together around our beautiful shuffleboard and promote this great game which has many health benefits. Playing shuffleboard provides a great physical exercise which is good for your health and mind. It is a low impact sport which can be played by any age group starting from 6 years to…!
We would like to thank Steve and his son Andrew who are always keen to participate in our shuffleboard events and encourage our seniors to take part. And what a better way than playing shuffleboard while having fun with friends.
